What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Part of the C453 Belstead Road, Ipswich
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C453 Belstead Road, Ipswich from no. 275 to no. 269 to facilitate pole replacement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Belstead Road, Stoke Park Drive, Belstead Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 08/03/2024 from 9.30am - 2.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure of Part of the U2204 Levington Road, Ipswich
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2204 Levington Road. Ipswich from Felixstowe Road to Osboume Road to facilitate the replacement of an electrical box. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Levington Road, Nacton Road, Salisbury Road, Felixstowe Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/03/2024 - 22/03/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure of Part of the U4434 Castle Road, Ipswich
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4434 Castle Road, Ipswich from no. 20 tor 20 metres eastbound to facilitate repairs to water pipe. Other co-ordinated worts may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Ravensfield Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/03/2024 - 20/03/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 monthsjor longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure of the A1189 Bixley Road, Ipswich
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1189 Bixley Road, Ipswich to facilitate carriageway reconstruction. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1156, the A12, the A1214, the A1189 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/03/2024 - 22/03/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure of Part of the C435 Bury Road, Woolpit
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
1. C435 Bury Road, Woolpit from Broomhill Lane to Wrights Way.
2. C435 Bury Road, Woolpit from Wrights Way to Wades Wood.
This is to facilitate construction of a new roundabout. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Elmswell Road, the A1088, Norton road, Bury Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/03/2024 -14/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary 30 MPH Speed Restriction on Part of the U8523 Marsh Road and the U8518 Withermarsh Green, Stoke by Nayland
Suffolk County Council has made an order for a 30 mph speed restriction on the following roads:
• the U8523 Marsh Road, Stoke by Nayland from Withermarsh Green for 70 metres northbound and 70 metres southbound
• the U8518 Withermarsh Green, Stoke by Nayland from Marsh Road for 120 metres westbound.
This is to facilitate access to a development. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that this measure will operate from 08/03/2024 - 07/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure of Part of the U8019 Ixer Lane, Great Whelnetham
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8019 Ixer Lane, Great Whelnetham from 164 metres south west of the junction with Bury Road for 40 metres south westbound to facilitate excavation of the carriageway to lay water pipes. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion mute will be Bury Road, Water Lane, the A134 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/03/2024 - 24/03/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure of Part of the C672 Hundon Road and Barnardiston Road, Barnardiston and Hundon
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C672 Hundon Road, Barnardiston from Shepherds Hey to Barnardiston Road and the C672 Barnardiston Road, Hundon from Hundon Road to Fox Farm to facilitate electrical pole replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Chimney Street, Valley Wash, Lower Road, Clare Road, Chilton Street, the B1063, the A143 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/03/2024 - 19/03/2024 from 9am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U6860 Hollands Road, Haverhill from the junction with Rookwood Way for 50 metres south eastbound to facilitate a gas service disconnection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1057, the A1017, Moon Hall Lane, Rookwood Way and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/03/2024 - 22/03/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C242 Silverlace Green, Parham from The Bungalow to Moat Hall Farm to facilitate access to an underground structure. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Hall Road, The Street, North Green Road. Cransford Road, Little Lonely Farm Road, the B1119, Low Road, Workhouse Lane. Parham Airfield and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/03/2024 - 20/03/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure of Part of the B1122 Various Roads, Yoxford, Middleton, Theberton and Leiston
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
• the B1122 Middleton Road, Yoxford
• the B1122 Yoxford Road, Middleton
• the B1122 Middleton Moor, Middleton
• the B1122 Leiston Road, Middleton
• the B1122 Leiston Road, Theberton
• the B1122 Road from the A12 Yoxford to the A1094 Aldeburgh, Theberton
• the B1122 Abbey Road, Leiston from the junction with the Road from the A12 Yoxford to the A1094 Aldeburgh to the junction with Abbey Lane.
This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1122, the B1119, the B1121, the A12. the B1122 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/03/2024 - 14/04/2024 from 8pm - 6am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Temporary Closure of Part of the U8127 Church Hill, Monks Eleigh
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8127 Church Hill, Monks Eleigh from 50 metres south east of the junction with Dark Lane for 50 metres south eastbound to facilitate telecommunications pole renewal works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1141, Highlands Road, Dark Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 18/03/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
