NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Newcastle Road, Shavington
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Newcastle Road, Shavington – From the junction with Main Road to the junction with Huntersfield.
The alternative route will be via Newcastle Road, Main Road, Roundabout A500 Cheerbrook, Shavington Bypass, Shavington Bypass Roundabout, Jack Mills Way, Crewe Green Link Roundabout, Meremoor Roundabout, Weston Roundabout and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Wednesday 3 April 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 9 April 2024.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Whitchurch Road, Audlem
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Whitchurch Road, Audlem – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Whitchurch Road, Goldsmith Lane, Baddington Lane, Shrewbridge Road, Park Road, Audlem Road, Broad Lane, Crewe Road, Cheshire Street, Shropshire Street and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on 25 March 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 April 2024.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION 
ACT 1984 – Welshmans Lane, Henhull & Wettenhall Road, Reaseheath
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic- Welshmans Lane, Henhull – For 100m from the junction with Millstone Lane.
Wettenhall Road, Reaseheath – For 100m from the junction with Millstone Lane.
Alternative route 1 will be via Welshmans Lane, Waterlode, High Street, Swine Market, Beam Street, Barony Road, Millstone Lane Roundabout, Millstone Lane and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
Alternative route 2 will be via Millstone Lane, Millstone Lane Roundabout, Main Road, Nantwich Road, Minshull Lane, Winsford Road, Wettenhall Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 1 April 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 12 April 2024.

The Cheshire East Borough Council (Footpath No. 8 (part) Parish of Newhall) Public Path Diversion Order 2024
The above Order was made on the 7 March 2024, under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The effect of the Order will be to divert the following:
That length of Public Footpath No. 8 (Part) in the Parish of Newhall, commencing at O.S. grid reference (OSGR) SJ 6056 4625 and running in a generally southerly direction for approx. 127 m to OSGR SJ 6058 4613, then easterly for approx. 25 m to OSGR SJ 6060 4613, then southerly for approx. 7 m to OSGR SJ 6060 4612, then east south easterly for approx. 60 m to OSGR SJ 6066 4611 to a new line commencing at OSGR SJ 6056 4625 and running in a generally easterly direction for approx. 82 m to OSGR SJ 6065 4626, then southerly for approx. 144 m to OSGR SJ 6066 4611.
Copies of the Order and the Plan may be obtained free of charge from the undersigned.
Any representations about, or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to prow@ cheshireeast.gov.uk or the Director of Governance and Compliance, Cheshire East Council, Municipal Buildings, C/O Delamere House, Delamere Street, Crewe, CW1 2LL not later than 9 April 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Cheshire East Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations and objections that have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 S15 – TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS
Public Footpath No. 5 Town of Crewe
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 11 September 2024. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following: 
That length of Public Footpath No. 5 Town of Crewe which commences at the junction with Bridleway No. 34 Crewe at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 7232 5646 and runs in a generally north westerly direction for approx. 86 m. to the junction with Herbert Street at OSGR SJ 7224 5649.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger while site clearance and associated building works are undertaken. 
An alternative route is available on site.
