What is happening?
HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A4145 HAGDEN LANE, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A4145 Hagden Lane, Watford from its junction with Benskin Road north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Belgrave Avenue, a distance of approximately 336m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via A4145 (Hagden Lane/Vicarage Road), A4178 (Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road/Cassio Road), A412 Rickmansworth Road, Hagden Lane and A4145 Hagden Lane or via A4145 Hagden Lane, Hagden Lane, A412 Rickmansworth Road, A4178 (Cassio Road/Merton Road/ Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road) and A4145 (Vicarage Road/ Hagden Lane).
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A411 BARNET LANE, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 Barnet Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with the Furzehill Road/Farriers Way roundabout south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and westwards for a distance of approximately 1176m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via A411 Barnet Lane, A1 Barnet Way (Barnet Bypass), A41 Edgware Way (Watford Bypass), A5183 (Elstree Hill South/High Street) and A411 Barnet Lane. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COLLEGE ROAD, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of College Road, Abbots Langley from its junction with Tylersfield south westwards to its junction with the Langley Lane/Tibbs Hill Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 91m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via College Road, High Road, Hill Farm Avenue and Langley Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE GREEN, SARRATT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Green, Sarratt from a point 87m north west of its junction with Dawes Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 23m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via The Green.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed
to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 March
2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions
specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on
or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING
RESTRICTIONS IN WOODSIDE AND CHESTNUT WALK, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Woodside, Watford from its junction with The Harebreaks north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Fuller Road, a distance of approximately 332m.
An alternative route will be via The Harebreaks and Chestnut Walk. 2. that length of Chestnut Walk, Watford from its junction with Beech Road north eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN NORTH APPROACH, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of North Approach, Watford from its junction with Greenwood Drive south westwards for a distance of approximately 200m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Greenwood Drive, Meadow Road, Briar Road and North Approach.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN RECTORY LANE, BUSHEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rectory Lane, Bushey from its junction with A411 High Street south westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (FAIRFIELD AVENUE, SOUTH OXHEY) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce waiting restrictions on Fairfield Avenue, South Oxhey as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
