Finchale Road - Proposed Zebra Crossing
What is happening?
SOUTH TYNESIDE COUNCIL
NOTICE OF PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING,
FINCHALE ROAD, HEBBURN 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that South Tyneside Council, proposes under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to install a new zebra crossing in the place described in schedule 3 below.
SCHEDULE 3
New Zebra Crossing
Finchale Road, Hebburn
The centre of the crossing is to be
located 53 metres west of the junction with Campbell Park Road
Associated zig-zag markings on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping at all times will be marked either side of the crossing extending up to 12m eastwards and 16m westwards.
Details of these proposals may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at the Council’s Legal Services Section at the address below.
If you wish to raise an objection, express support or make any other observations about these proposals, you must make them
in writing at the address below (addressed for the attention of Road Safety Team / ref TRS21/2023/LTP) by 3 rd April 2024. Any
objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
