Road Closure – The Old Hill, Wherwell, Test Valley
Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
Road To Be Closed: that part of The Old Hill between its junction with Beech Hill and its junction with Fair Piece.
Alternative Route: No Diversion route – Access will be maintained for Residents and businesses.
Duration Of Order: from 25th March 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days, working between the hours 08:00- 17:00).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Dyer & Butler to carry out structural repairs.
Dyer & Butler will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
