What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

DARTFORD AREA

A206 CROSSWAYS BOULEVARD, DARTFORD, DA9 7BT (CYCLE LANE SUSPENSION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of street lighting works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily suspend the cycle lane on part of A206 Crossways Boulevard, Dartford, on or after 5th April 2024 for up to 1 night between 20.00hrs and 03.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The cycle lane will be suspended westbound 300m from the roundabout at Charles Street to outside Catalent.

BEACON DRIVE, BEAN, DA2 8BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beacon Drive, Bean, on or after 18 March 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 104.

The alternative route is via Beacon Drive, School Lane, B255 Southfleet Road/High Street/Ashwood Place and vice versa.

COMMON LANE, WILMINGTON, DA2 7EN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of SGN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Common Lane, Wilmington, on or after 1st April 2024 for up to 14 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Broad Lane/High Road.

The alternative route is via B258 High Road/Church Hill, A225 Hawley Road, Oakfield Lane, Common Lane and vice versa.

STONE LODGE ROAD, STONE, DA2 6FU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stone Lodge Road, Stone, on or after 1st April 2024 for up to 14 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

WELLCOME AVENUE, DARTFORD, DA1 5EY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wellcome Avenue, Dartford, on or after 18 March 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Trevithick Drive and number 84.

The alternative route is via Wellcome Avenue, Sharp Way, Trevithick Drive and vice versa.

VARIOUS ROADS, DARTFORD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of gas mains replacement by SGN, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic as per the below.

St Mary’s Way, Longfield – Outside 3 St Mary’s Way to Oakwood Rise01/04/2024 to 29/04/2024Diversion: Oakwood Rise, Hartley Road, B260 Main Road and vice versa

Station Road, Longfield - Junction with Kent Road 08/04/2024 to 22/04/2024Diversion: Station Road, Hartley Road, B260 Main Road and vice versa

Kent Road, Longfield – Whole length 08/04/2024 to 14/05/2024Diversion: Fawkham Road, B260 Main Road, Station Road and vice versa
