Footpath 50 Hazel Grove And Bramhall - Temporary Closure
What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (FOOTPATH 50 HAZEL GROVE AND BRAMHALL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffc Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffc (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which will be to temporarily close the complete length of Footpath 50 Hazel Grove and Bramhall between Bramhall Park Road to Footpath 51 Hazel Grove and Bramhall whilst traffc signs to that effect are in place on or near the said public footpath. This Order is necessary to allow works by SMBC contractors. It is anticipated that the maximum duration of the works will be 6 months. Alternative routes will be provided via:- from the western end of Footpath 50 Hazel Grove and Bramhall North on Footpath 51 Hazel Grove and Bramhall to Linney Road then east to Bramhall Park Road then south to the Eastern end of Footpath 50 Hazel Grove and Bramhall. This Order came into operation on the 8 March 2024 and will have effect for six months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
