CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

SYDENHAM ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate bridge strengthening works on behalf of Network Rail, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Sydenham Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Sydenham Road will be closed between its junction with Gladstone Road and the north-eastern boundary of Nos. 291 to 293 Sydenham Road.

3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via the roads below, as appropriately signposted. Residents' access will be maintained.

* Via Northcote Road, Whitehorse Road, St James's Road, Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, Old Town, The Croydon Flyover, Wellesley Road, St James's Road and reversed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 08 March 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 16 August 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984 SECTION 14. AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING & PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC WOODDVILLE ROAD. THORNTON HEATH

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate safe access to Openreach underground structure, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking and pedestrian traffic in Woodville Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time:

(a) On both sides of the road between the common boundaries of Nos. 53 and 55 and Nos. 73 and 75 Woodville Road.

(b) In the disabled parking bay outside No. 63 Woodville Road.

3. During the works the footway outside Nos. 61 to 65 Woodville Road will be closed and pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 07 March 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(b) Any vehicle or pedestrian involved in the said works.

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BIDDULPH ROAD. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the movement of construction vehicles at a development site, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Biddulph Road, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said building development works are taking place, waiting will be prohibited on the southern (even-numbered) side of Biddulph Road, from a point opposite the south-eastern boundary of No. 27 to a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 29 and 30b Biddulph Road. The restriction will operate from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday.

3. The Order will come into operation on 22 March 2024, and will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any construction vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 NEWHAVEN ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of a PRV setup to aid water leakage reduction on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Newhaven Road, South Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking on both sides of Newhaven Road outside Nos. 10 to 14 will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time.

3. The Order will come into operation on 21 March 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 10 April 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water main connection works on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Nursery Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

(a) Nursery Road will be closed to vehicular traffic at its junction with the High Street, Thornton Heath.

(b) The north-western footway of Nursery Road will be closed between its junction with the High Street, Thornton Heath, and a point opposite the south-western wall of No. 123 High Street.

3. During the closure the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be via High Street, Gillett Road, Elm Road and vice versa, or via High Street, Whitehorse Road, Zion Place and vice versa, as appropriately signposted. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

4. The Order will come into operation on 21 March 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within approximately 12 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984. SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC LONDON BOROUGH OF CULTURE EVENTS KATHARINE STREET. CROYDON

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate London Borough of Culture events around the Clocktower, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Katharine Street, Croydon.

2. During the events, Katharine Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with High Street, Croydon, and Fell Road. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.

3. The Order will come into effect on 21 March 2024 and the closure will operate overnight from 5pm to 11.30pm on 21, 22 and 23 March.

4. Whilst the closure is on force the alternative route for traffic will be via Fell Road, The Croydon Flyover A232, Park Lane Roundabout A232, The Croydon Flyover A232, and Edridge Road.

5. Nothing in the Order shall apply:

(a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

(b) to any vehicle involved in the said events, or being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
