(Chapel End, Broxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel End, Broxted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 295m north then north east of its junction with School Lane for a distance of approximately 130m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd April 2024 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30039375858 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Waltham Hall Road, Elsenham Road, Hall Road, Henham Road, Mill Road, Thaxted Road, Church End Lane and vice versa (with access only into Church End, Brick End, Woodgates End, Chapel End and Molehill Green).
The Order will come into effect on 14th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Uttlesford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.3) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Uttlesford as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Uttlesford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 14th March 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Woodgates End, Broxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Woodgates End, Broxted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 610m south west of its junction with Brick End Lane for a distance of approximately 100m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd April 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30027524467 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Waltham Hall Road, Elsenham Road, Hall Road, Henham Road, Mill Road, Thaxted Road, Church End, Brick End and vice versa (with access only into Woodgates End, Chapel End and Molehill Green).

(Proverbs Green Road, High Roding) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Proverbs Green Road, High Roding in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 610m north east of its junction with Rands Road for a distance of approximately 405m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th March 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008FBD10010 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Proverbs Green Road, Rands Road, Poplar Road, Barnston Road, High Easter Road - Bishops Green - Zc10104, Proverbs Green Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 29th February 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Warehouse Road, Stebbing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Warehouse Road, Stebbing in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 45m south east of its junction with Whitehouse Road for a distance of approximately 75m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th April 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06048207/AP - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water supply works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Stebbing Road, Stebbing Green, Dunmow Road, Braintree Road, Dunmow Bypass, Braintree Road, St Edmunds Lane, The Broadway, Dunmow Road From Bran End To Broadway, Pulford Place, The Downs, Watch House Road and vice versa (with access only into Warehouse Road).
The Order came into effect on 29th February 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
