The Council of The London Borough of Redbridge The Redbridge (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2021 (Amendment No. 8) Order 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 15 of the Greater London Council Act 1972 and Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, on the 6th March 2024 made the above-mentioned Order, the effect of which will be to:
1. Implement Permit Parking Area Snaresbrook A (SA) operating 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday (Inclusive of) in the following roads; Althorne Gardens; Audley Court; Bradwell Close; Hermitage Walk; Malford Grove outside nos. 1 to 16; Rayne Court; Rivenhall Gardens; Woodham Court;
2. Implement double yellow lines (no waiting at any time restrictions) at the following locations; in Rivenhall Gardens outside and opposite no. 25 Snaresbrook Road, outside nos. 51 to 56, at the junction between nos. 44 and 45; at and opposite the junctions of Audley Court and Rivenhall Gardens; at the north side of the northern junction of Woodham Court and Rivenhall Gardens; at the south side of the southern junction of Woodham Court and Rivenhall Gardens; at the junction of Rivenhall Gardens and Althorne Gardens; in Althorne Gardens, the north side between Rivenhall Gardens and the junction with Althorne Gardens; in Althorne Gardens, the south side, outside the north side of nos. 77 to 88; at the junction of Bradwell close, Rivenhall Gardens and Hermitage Walk; at the junctions of Rayne Court and Hermitage Walk; in Hermitage walk opposite No. 34, outside no. 20; at the junctions outside Nos. 3 to 37 Hermitage Walk; at the junction of Hermitage Walk and Althorne Gardens; at the junction of Hermitage Walk and Hermitage Close; at the junction of Hermitage Walk and Malford Grove; at the junction adjacent to the side of no. 2 The Drive; at the junction of Laurel Way and Malford Grove;
3. Convert the existing electric vehicle charging bay to electric vehicle charging place permit holders only (SA) operating at all times in Hermitage Walk, outside nos. 44 to 54 Hermitage Walk;
4. To revoke existing parking restrictions in the locations mentioned in the other sections of this notice;
5. Online application charges (per address) for the permit parking restrictions mentioned in Section 1 (inclusive of) of this notice are as follows: first resident permit £17 for 6 months, £22.50 for 12 months; second additional resident permit £61.75 for 6 months, £123.50 for 12 months; third and subsequent additional resident permit £111.50 for 6 months, £223 for 12 months. Visitor permits £12 for 10 permits. Business permits £260 for 6 months, £520 for 12 months. School staff permits £86.70 for 4 months or £241.50 for 12 months. Permit(s) free of charge for disabled badge holders and fully electric vehicles. Any applications not made online will incur an additional £24.75 charge per permit (except Visitor and School staff permits).
A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 11th March 2024, together with the Council's statement of reasons for making the Order, the map schedules and map schedule legend indicating the locations and the effects may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255 to 259 High Road, llford, IG1 1 NY Monday to Friday (except on Bank Holidays).
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the
grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any
of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied
with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make
application for the purpose to the High Court
