(Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.33) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended). Effect of the order: To Implement: 'No Waiting at Any Time' Restrictions Road Description

Road Station Approach  'loop' Buildout

Description NORTHWEST SIDE: from the north-western most point of the, northeast for approximately 13 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into 'The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019' by substituting map tile: TQ420 955 Revision 1 to Revision 2.

Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 08 March 2024

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Forest Drive, Theydon Bois) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Forest Drive, Theydon Bois in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Buxton Road to its junction with Dukes Avenue a distance of approximately 280m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd April 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2356852 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Dukes Avenue, Heath Drive, Orchard Drive, Coppice Row, Station Approach, Forest Drive and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 14th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pentlow Way, Buckhurst Hill) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pentlow Way, Buckhurst Hill in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Loughton Way for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2 April 2024 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231010314 - TSG Building Services). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new bell mouth construction works are undertaken by TSG Building Services.

An alternative route is available via Pentlow Way, Greensted Road, Valley Hill, Loughton Way and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 14th March 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.4) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force. "The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 14th March

2024, exact dates will be specified on One.Network. Access will be maintained for

emergency services. Residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/

leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Temporary Suspension of 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) (No.5) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in those lengths of roads in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule to this Order.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

5. To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction in that length of Sewardstone Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest from its junction with Sun Street, Crooked Mile and Monkswood Avenue generally southward for a distance of approximately 400 metres to its junction with Cartersfield Road as cited "Epping Forest District (Sewardstone Road, Farm Hill Road, Honey Lane and Broomstick Hall Road, Waltham Abbey) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2002".

6. To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction in that length of Broomstick Hall Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest from junction with Farm Hill Road/Honey Lane to junction with Ninefields/Parklands for its entire length as cited "Epping Forest District (Sewardstone Road, Farm Hill Road, Honey Lane and Broomstick Hall Road, Waltham Abbey) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2002".

7. To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction in that length of North Street, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest from its junction with 8194 Nazeing Road to its junction with Maplecroft Lane as cited "The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Roydon and Nazeing) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2010".

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 14th March 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
