CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

STAITHGATE LANE, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of electrical works proposed to be executed on or near Staithgate Lane, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Staithgate Lane from its junction with Staithgate Roundabout (Rooley Lane) to its junction with Dean Beck Avenue.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Staithgate Lane (unaffected section), Rooley Lane, Bierley Lane, Rockhill Lane, Wharfedale Road, Merrydale Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 06:00 hours on the 18th March 2024 and remain in force until 23:59 hours on the 3rd April 2024(although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
