Medway Council as Local Planning Authority has received the following applications which are being advertised to ascertain the views of persons living near the sites and other interested parties. The proposed developments relate to one or more of the following:
1. The site of the application is within/affecting the setting of a designated Conservation Area (Section 73) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;
2. The application relates to, or affects the setting of a Listed Building (Section 67) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;
3. The application is for a Major Development;

Medway Council (Windsor Avenue area, Gillingham)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable the gas main to be replaced–
Windsor Avenue area, Gillingham– Roads will be closed as follows -(a) the full length of Windsor Avenue, (b) Palmerston Road between Buller Road and Windsor Avenue/Symons Avenue and (c) Booth Road between Beaconsfield Road and Palmerston Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be available and signed as the works progress.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 8 April 2024and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday,8 April 2024and are programmed for completion within four weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Medway Council (Frindsbury Hill, Rochester)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to facilitate the construction of the Maritime Academy -
Frindsbury Hill and Berwick Way, Rochester–
Road Closures - to be closed to all vehicular trafficin one or both directions between Sans Pareil Roundabout and Brickfield View as required by the progress of the works; Wainscott Road junction with Sans Pareil Roundabout to be closed as required.
Speed Limits - Berwick Way speed limit to be reduced from 50mph to 30mph between Upnor Roundabout and Frindsbury Hill roundabout. In Wulfere Way A289 the 70mph speed limit will be reduced to 50mph and the 50mph speed limit reduced to 30mph.
Footpaths – Footpath RS328 between Berwick Way and Frindsbury Hill will be diverted via Parsonage Lane.
Bus Gate – the bus gate Commissioners Road/Canal Road will be suspended to facilitate the exit of traffic from Whitewall Industrial Estate.
Alternative routes and temporary speed limits will be signed as required according to the progress of the works.

The Medway Council (Gillingham and Brompton) (Parking Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions Restrictions) (Amendment No.39a) Order 2023
NOTICE OF MAKING
Beresford Road, Gillingham ME7 4ET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Medway Council on 4 March 2024 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 1, 2, 45, 46, 53 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Amendment Order, which comes into operation on 11March 2024 will be to adjust the parking bay from outside The Chapel to No.106 Beresford Road, Gillingham, to accommodate dropped kerbs and vehicle crossings, for driveway access.

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply equipment to be repaired or replaced -
Salisbury Road, Chatham- to be closed to all vehicular trafficacross the frontage of 73 Salisbury Road.Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available viaOtway Terrace, Mills Terrace and Magpie Hall Road.

(Amendment No. 10) Order 2024
NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
Bell’s Lane, Farman Dr, Main Rd (Chattenden), Main Rd (Hoo), Ratcliffe Highway
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Medway Council on 4March 2024 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 1, 2and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order, which comes into operation on 11 March 2024,will be to make permanent the lengths of ‘at any time’ waiting restrictionsintroduced under an experimental order previously, as detailed:
(a) BELL’S LANE, HOO - on the south-west side, from a point 9 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Ratcliffe Highway, Hoo to a point 16 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Ratcliffe Highway, Hoo;
(b) FARMAN DRIVE, HOO (i) on the north-east side, from the south-eastern kerb-line of Ratcliffe Highway, Hoo south-eastward for a distance of 8.5 metres, and (ii) on the south-west side, from the south-eastern kerb-line of Ratcliffe Highway, Hoo south-eastward for a distance of 10 metres;
(c) MAIN ROAD, CHATTENDEN - on both sides of the road, from its junction with Main Road, Hoo to the eastern boundary of ‘Rushlands’, Main Road, Chattenden;
(d) MAIN ROAD, HOO - on both sides of the road, from a point 17 metres west of the western boundary of No. 252 Main Road, Hoo to its junction with Peninsular Way;
(e) RATCLIFFE HIGHWAY, HOO (i) on the north-west side, from its junction with Main Road, Hoo to the south-western boundary of ‘Sundown’, Ratcliffe Highway, Hoo (ii) on the south-east side, from its junction with Main Road, Hoo to the south-western boundary of ‘Coronation Bungalow’, Ratcliffe Highway, Hoo and (iii) on both sides, from the north-western kerb-line of the north-western vehicular access to ‘The Windmill’ public hours, Ratcliffe Highway, Hoo to its junction with Bell’s Lane, Hoo.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Medway Council on 4 March 2024 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 1, 2, 32, 35, 45, 46, and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Amendment Order, which comes into operation on 11 March 2024, will be toformally authorise the disabled parking bay south-west of No.21 Brisbane Road, Chatham, adjacent to Gurudwara.
