CHOPPARDS BANK ROAD,
HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road intends not less than seven days
from the date of this Notice to make an Order
the effect of which will be that no person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed
in that length of Choppards Bank Road,
Holmfirth from its junction with Rich Gate to
its junction with Dunford Road PROVIDED
THAT such prohibition shall not extend to
vehicles being used in connection with the
works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access
up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by
the closure will be available via Rich Gate,
Washpit New Road, Dunford Road and vice
versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 25th March 2024 and remain
in force until 5th April 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(WICKINS LANE, UPPERTHONG,
HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2)
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road intends not less than seven days
from the date of this Notice to make an Order
the effect of which will be that no person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed
in that length of Wickins Lane, Upperthong
from its junction with Town Gate to its
junction with Dean Road PROVIDED
THAT such prohibition shall not extend to
vehicles being used in connection with the
works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access
up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected
by the closure will be available via Town
Gate, Upperthong Lane, Park Head Lane,
Greenfield Road, Thick Hollins Road, Dean
Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 25th March 2024 and remain
in force until 30th April 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH COL/141/50,
SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
USE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the footpath intends not less than seven
days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order the effect of which will be that no
person shall proceed in that length of Public
Footpath COL/141/50, Slaithwaite from its
junction with Public Footpath COL/141/20 to
its junction with Holme Lane PROVIDED
THAT such prohibition shall not extend to
persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by
the closure will be available via Holme
Lane, Nabbs Lane, Bank Gate, Ivy
Mount, Netherend Road, Public Footpath
COL/141/60 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Saturday, 23rd March 2024 and remain
in force until 7th April 2024 (although it can
remain in force for any period up to 6 months
if necessary).
(HELME LANE, MELTHAM,
HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road intends not less than seven days
from the date of this Notice to make an Order
the effect of which will be that no person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed
in that length of Helme Lane, Meltham
from a point outside property no. 160 to a
point outside property no. 164 PROVIDED
THAT such prohibition shall not extend to
vehicles being used in connection with the
works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access
up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via the unaffected
length of Helme Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 25th March 2024 and remain
in force until 29th March 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(PAGE STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road intends not less than seven
days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order the effect of which will be that no
person shall cause or permit any vehicle
to proceed in that length of Page Street,
Huddersfield from its junction with Queen
Street South to its junction with St Paul’s
Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out
on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s)
of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
There is no alternative diversionary route
available. Access maintained for residents
and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Wednesday, 28th March 2024 only (although
it can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(CARR LANE, SLAITHWAITE,
HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER
2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road intends not less than seven days
from the date of this Notice to make an Order
the effect of which will be that no person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed
in that length of Carr Lane, Slaithwaite from
a point approximately 20 metres either side
of railway bridge PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being
used in connection with the works to be
carried out on or near the closed length of
road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by
the closure will be available via the following
routes:
Diversion 1 - via Carr Lane, Radcliffe Road,
Lower Wellhouse Road, Share Hill Road,
Brook Lane, James Street, Scar Lane, Market
Street, Yates Lane, Morley Lane, Manchester
Road, Back O’Dam, Britannia Road;
Diversion 2 - via Carr Lane, Britannia Road,
Back O’Dam, Manchester Road, Morley
Lane, Scar Lane, James Street, Brook Lane,
Share Hill Road, Lower Wellhouse Road,
Radcliffe Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 25th March 2024 and remain
in force until 26th March 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(RED DOLES ROAD, FARTOWN,
HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER
2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause
or permit any vehicle to proceed in that
length of Red Doles Road, Fartown from a
point approximately 20 metres either side
of the railway bridge PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with the works to
be carried out on or near the closed length of
road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
There is no alternative diversionary route
available. Access maintained for residents
and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Monday, 11th March 2024 only (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).

HOLMFIRTH)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the

reason of works proposed to be carried out
on or near the road has made an Order the
effect of which will be that no person shall
cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in
that length of Tinker Lane, Meltham from its
junction with Heather Road to its junction
with Holmfirth Road PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with the works to
be carried out on or near the closed length of
road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via Heather Road,
Heather Avenue, Calmlands Road, Holmfirth
Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 11th March 2024 and remain
in force until 13th March 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(CLIFF LANE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect of
which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length
of Cliff Lane, Holmfirth from its junction
with Cliff Street to its junction with Back
Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out
on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s)
of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via the unaffected
length of Cliff Lane, Cliff Road, Town End
Road, Station Road, Back Lane and vice
versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect of
which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length
of South Lane, Holmfirth from its junction
with Back Lane to its junction with Dunford
Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out
on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s)
of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via the unaffected
length of South Lane, Cinder Hills Road,
Sandy Gate, Ryecroft Lane, Cross Lane,
Cross Gate Road, Dunford Road and vice
versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 11th March 2024 and remain
in force until 15th March 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(WOODEDGE AVENUE, DALTON,
HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect of
which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length
of Woodedge Road, Dalton from its junction
with Edgeware Road to its termination
point PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out
on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s)
of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
There is no alternative diversionary route
available. Access maintained for residents
and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 11th March 2024 and remain
in force until 22nd March 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(BANK LANE, DENBY DALE,
HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect of
which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length
of Bank Lane, Denby Dale from its junction
with Dale Close to its junction with Barnsley
Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out
on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s)
of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via Barnsley Road,
Wakefield Road, Norman Road, Bank Lane
and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 11th March 2024 and remain
in force until 18th March 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(THE HOLLOW, MELTHAM,
HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect of
which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length
of The Hollow, Meltham from a point outside
property no. 17 to a point outside property
no. 26 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out
on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s)
of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by
the closure will be available via the following
routes:-
Diversion 1 - via the unaffected length of The
Hollow, Owler Bars Road, Mill Moor Road,
Westgate, Station Street, Slaithwaite Road,
Golcar Brow Road,
Diversion 2 - via Golcar Brow Road,
Slaithwaite Road, Station Road, Greens End
Road, Mill Moor Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 11th March 2024 and remain
in force until 15th March 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(CARR PIT ROAD, MOLDGREEN,
HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause
or permit any vehicle to proceed in that
length of Carr Pit Road, Moldgreen from its
junction with Ivy Street to a point outside
Iceland car park exit PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with the works to
be carried out on or near the closed length of
road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via Ivy Street, Silver
Street, Silver Street West, Carr Pit Road and
vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Tuesday, 12th March 2024 between 09:30
-15:30 hours only (although it can remain
in force for any period up to 18 months if
necessary).
(KINGS MILL LANE,
HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect of
which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length
of Kings Mill Lane, Huddersfield from its
junction with Maple Street to its junction
with Wakefield Road PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with the works to
be carried out on or near the closed length of
road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by
the closure will be available via the following
routes:-
Diversion 1 - via Kings Mill Lane,
Maple Street, Somerset Road, Wakefield
Road;
Diversion 2 - via Wakefield Road, Firth
Street, Kings Bridge Road, Kings Mill Lane.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Wednesday, 13th March 2024 between 09:30
- 15:30 hours only (although it can remain

HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out
on or near the road has made an Order the
effect of which will be that no person shall
cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in
that length of Bridge Street/Woodhead Road
from its junction with Lockwood Road to its
junction with Waingate PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with the works to
be carried out on or near the closed length of
road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by
the closure will be available via Parkgate,
Woodhead Road, Huddersfield Road, New
Mill Road, Penistone Road, Holmfirth Road,
Lane Head Road, Abbey Road South, Abbey
Road North, Abbey Road, Penistone Road,
Wakefield Road, Queensgate, Chapel Hill,
Folly Hall, Lockwood Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 11th March 2024 and remain in
force until 15th March 2024 between 18:00 -
23:59 hours each day (although it can remain
in force for any period up to 18 months if
necessary).
(DEAN BROOK ROAD/UPPER HAGG
ROAD/BANKS ROAD/FAR END
LANE, NETHERTHONG/HONLEY,
HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out
on or near the road has made an Order the
effect of which will be that no person shall
cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the
following lengths of road in Netherthong/
Honley:-
Far End Lane/Banks Road/Upper Hagg Road
- from its junction with Old Turnpike to its
junction with Dean Brook Road
Dean Brook Road - from its junction with
Upper Hagg Road to its junction with Miry
Lane
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out
on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s)
of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by
the closure will be available via the following
routes:-
Diversion 1 - via Calf Hill Road,
Huddersfield Road, New Road, West End,
Holmdale Crescent, Denham Drive, Dean
Avenue and vice versa;
Diversion 2 - via Hagg Wood Road,
Woodhead Road, Calf Hill Road and vice
versa;
Diversion 3 - via Old Turnpike, Eastgate,
Woodhead Road, Hagg Wood Road and
vice versa.
The closure which came into operation
on Monday, 5th February 2024 has been
extended to remain in force for a further
period until 29th March 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(BURNLEE ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause
or permit any vehicle to proceed in that
length of Burnlee Road, Holmfirth from its
junction with Woodside View to its junction
with Woodhead Road PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with the works to
be carried out on or near the closed length of
road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via the unaffected
length of Burnlee Road, Greenfield Road,
Woodhead Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 11th March 2024 to follow on
from the expiry of the Emergency Notice
dated 26th February 2024 and will remain
in force until 7th August 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
(CONISTON AVENUE, DALTON,
HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect of
which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length
of Coniston Avenue, Dalton from its junction
with Dalton Fold Road to its junction with
Broad Lane PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being
used in connection with the works to be
carried out on or near the closed length of
road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all
times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by
the closure will be available via Dalton Fold,
Carr Green Lane, Broad Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Wednesday, 13th March 2024 to follow
on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice
dated 22nd February 2024 and will remain
in force until 10th May 2024 (although it
can remain in force for any period up to 18
months if necessary).
