What is happening?
PROPOSED DISABLED PARKING PLACES BATCH 2023-05, VARIOUS ROADS THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.***) ORDER 202* THE HARINGEY (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. ***) ORDER 202* T10
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and amend footway parking places under section 15 of the GLC General Powers Act 1974, and of all other powers.
The General Effects of the Orders would be:
(i) To introduce Disabled Parking Bays operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; adjacent to the flank wall of Bedale House on Eastfield Road N8 (x2 bays introduced), No.45 Eldon Road N22 (adjacent Double Yellow Line (DYL) will be extended south by 3.2 metres), No.112/114 Warham Road N4, No.140 Park Lane N17 (adjacent DYL will be extended by 5.3 metres), No.2-4 Hatchfield House on Langford Close N15 (x2 bays introduced), opposite No.2a Bishopswood Road N6 (2x bays introduced either side of the existing bay with maximum stay period of 30 minutes and no return within 1 hour).
(ii) To relocate existing Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays ensuring they measure a length of 6.6 metres, from outside No.3 Chesnut Grove N17 to the northern end of the existing Permit Holder Only bays on Rycroft Way N17, outside No.68 Chester Road N17 will be moved east by 5 metres.
(iii) To relocate existing Disabled Parking Bays, ensuring they measure a length of 6.6 metres, from outside No.5 to opposite No.2 on Cornwall Avenue N22, from outside No.6 North view Road N8 to a point approximately 20 metres eastwards, x2 bays from outside No.13 and Mo.17 to No.27 and No.37 respectively on North View Road N8, from outside No.17 to No.7 on Everington Road 10, from outside No.26 Stirling Road N22 to adjacent to the church on Berwick Road N22 (adjacent ?YL will be extended by 3.2 metres and adjacent Single Yellow Line will be extended by 1.6 metres), from outside No.27 Morteyne Road N17 to outside No.16 De Quincey Road (Double Yellow Lines outside No.16 will be extended north by 1.6 metres and outside No.14 will be extended south by 3.2 metres), from outside No.40 Maryland Road N22 to adjacent to the church on Maryland Road N22 (adjacent DYL will be extended east by 2.3 metres), from outside No.54 Woodside Road N22 to adjacent to No.9 Glendale Avenue on Woodside Road N22, from outside No.77 Gloucester Road N17 to adjacent to No.49 to 55 Chester Road N17 on Gloucester Road N17 (adjacent DYL will be extended 1.9 metres south), from outside No.79 to opposite No.86 to 96 on Muswell Hill Place N10, from outside No.80 to No.98/100 on Dunbar Road N22 (adjacent Single Yellow Lines will be extended on north and south side of the bay by 1 metre and 2.8 metres respectively), from outside No.81 to outside Union Church on Weston Park N8 (1x existing bay relocation and 1x new Disabled Parking bay, adjacent DYL on east side and west side will be extended west by 3.1 metres and 1 metre respectively), from outside No.94 to No.104/106 Warham Road N4, from outside No.200 to No.184 on Langham Road N15, from outside No.3 to No.14 Crawley Road N22, from outside No.22 to No.1 Frome Road N22, from outside No.75 to No.67, from outside No.26 to Mo.15 Jellicoe Road N17, from outside No.140 to No.142 Rosebery Avenue N17, from outside No.31 to No.19 Saxon Road N22, from outside No.37 to Mo.29 Sperling Road N17, from outside No.32 to No.40 Woodside Road N22, from outside No.67 to No.75 Hillfield Avenue N8.
(iv) To remove existing Disabled Parking Bays, outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; Mo.82 Fairview Road, No.6 Denmark Street N17, No.18 Tetherdown N10, No.30 Elms Avenue N10, No.31 Grand Avenue N10, No.59 Queens Road N11, No.70 Rosebery Road N10, No122 Falkland Road N8.
The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.
(v) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(i), (ii) and (iii) of this notice and to reinstate the Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(ii), (iii) and (iv) of this notice.
A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council's statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online consultation portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks From the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.
