FRADLEY AND STREETHAY PARISH
TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on
12/9/23 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit
any pedestrians from proceeding along Public Footpath No. 43
Fradley and Streethay Parish from its junction with Gorse Ln for
approximately 458 metresin a generally easterly direction and then
continuing for approximately 78 metres in a southerly direction.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic
Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to health and safety
risks caused by the construction of a housing development.
No alternative route is available
A plan is displayed on site to show the length of public footpath to
be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order came into operation on 15/9/23 and will remain in
force forafurther period of twelve months or until the
housing development works are completed, whichever is earlier.
If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period
with the approval of the Secretary of State.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS)
ACT 1994 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
(AS AMENDED) FRADLEY ROAD RACE
Various Rds in The County of Staffordshire. Notice is hereby
given that the Staffordshire County Council will make an Order on
the 5/3/24 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from
proceeding in those roads in the District of Lichfield that comprise
the route of the Fradley Road Race as summarised below. Any
vehicle being used in connection with the event; or being used for
police, fire brigade or ambulance purpose will be exempt from the
restrictions contained in the Order.
The restrictions are necessary to maintain the safety of all
participants and road users. No alternative routes are advised for
affected traffic asthe restrictions will only be effective for so long as
is necessary for the participants to pass.
The Order will not at any time prevent access of pedestrians to
properties situated on or adjacent to any road to which the order
relates or to any properties only accessible to pedestrians from
such a road
Roads covered by this Order: Church Ln, Turnbull Rd, Hay End Ln,
Sale Ln, Long Ln, Old Hall Ln and Daisy Ln near Fradley
IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE ROADS WILL BE CLOSED
FROM 07:00HOURS. THE ROAD WILL RE-OPEN ONCE THE
EVENT HAS CONCLUDED WHICH IS ANTICIPATED TO BE BY
14:00HOURS
The Order will come into operation on the 17/3/24 and will remain
in force until the event has concluded. The event is being organised
by Sunbelt Rentals

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Barracks Ln, Walsall. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire
County Council on 22/2/24 made an Order the effect of which is to
prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Barracks Ln, Walsall.

The Order will come into operation on 11/3/24 and the said works
will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is
anticipated the works will be completed by 15/3/24. The Order will
remain in force foraperiod of 18 months or until the repair and
replace hydrant, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the
road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
North St, Burntwood. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire
County Council on 29/2/24 made an Order the effect of which is to
prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along North St, Burntwood.

will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is
anticipated the works will be completed by 14/3/24. The Order will
remain in force foraperiod of 18 months or until the new water
connection, which it is proposed to carry out on n or near the road
have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Little Hay Ln, Little Hay. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire
County Council on 5/3/24 made an Order the effect of which is to
prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Little Hay Ln, Little Hay.

The Order will come into operation on 13/3/24 and the said works
will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is
anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The
Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the
decayed BT pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry
out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the
earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council
intend not less than seven days from the date of this
notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding along:
Mill Ln, Stonnall. For more information regarding access

practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed

near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be
completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a
period of 18 months or until the tree trimming works, which it is
proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
Lichfield Rd, Whittington. Notice is hereby given that
Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from
the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to
temporarily impose a 40MPH speed restriction along Lichfield Rd,
Whittington. For more information regarding access arrangements,

the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that
date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/09/2025.
