NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:
Clevedon Lane, Clapton-in-Gordano North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024
Date coming into force: 4 April 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-005
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to replace a pole. This will become operative on the 4 April 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Yanley Lane, Long Ashton, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024
Date coming into force: 25 April 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-034
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to test poles and tree cutting works. This will become operative on the 25 April 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
Schedule - Yanley Lane from approximately 360m south of Yanley Barn to A38.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024
Date coming into force: 29 April 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-035
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to lay new duct. This will become operative on the 29 April 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024
Date coming into force: 30 April 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-036
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by National Grid to for overhead works. This will become operative on the 30 April 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 9am and 1.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force. Access maintained for residents.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024
Date coming into force: 2 April 2024 - Ref SW24.25-046
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wessex Water to repair sewer. This will become operative on the 2 April 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 6 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Temporary No Left Turn Order 2024
Date coming into force: 29 April 2024 - Ref: SW24.25-025
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and to restrict vehicles from turning left in the lengths of road specified in the Schedules to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wessex Water to line sewer. This will become operative on the 29 April 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 5 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
Road closure Schedule - Slade Road closure from property numbers 30 to 34. Closure of exit slip road onto Nore Road, leaving the exit on to Cabstand open. No Left Turn Schedule - Ferndale Road traffic exiting on to Slade Road to turn right only.

FINAL NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:
Lodge Lane, Nailsea, Backwell Bow, Backwell and Station Road, Flax Bourton, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024
Date coming into force: 11 March 2024 - Ref: T24-12
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the schedule to this notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for any North Somerset Council vehicle enforcing the restrictions and for any vehicle with agreed dispensation from North Somerset Council undertaking emergency work.
This order is required in the interest of public safety and to facilitate road works and will become operative on 11 March 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 5 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs, cones, road safety barriers and diversion routes will be displayed when the measures are in force.
Schedule - Phase 1: Lodge Lane, Nailsea from outside Sunnyvale, Lodge Lane, in a southerly direction to Backwell Bow at its junction with Backwell Common. Phase 2: Backwell Bow, Backwell from its junction with Backwell Common in a southerly direction to the start of Chapel Hill. Phase 3: Station Road, Flax Bourton 230m from outside The Poor House, Station Road in a southerly direction to just north of the entrance to Flax Bourton Primary School, Station Road.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, has made an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the schedule to this notice.
