What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
(CARLTON STREET, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle or pedestrian to proceed in the length of Carlton Street from its junction with Crown Street and Albert Street for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is
maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Crown Street, Cheetham Street, Hope Street, Albert Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 11th March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 22nd March 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 07:00 & 17:00.
(WAKEFIELD ROAD, COPLEY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Hatton Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Wakefield Road from its junction with Bankhouse Lane in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 60 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Wakefield Road, Huddersfield Road, Salterhebble Hill, Dryclough Lane, Skircoat Green Road, Copley Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months,
notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th March 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 22:00 & 06:00.
(EXLEY LANE, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Morrison Water Services have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Exley Lane from Exley Hall Farm to The Corner Barn for a distance of approximately 8.71 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency
services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 14th March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th March 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period
between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(LOMBARD STREET, HALIFAX)
(NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Lombard Street outside No. 35 to No. 37 for a distance of approximately 7 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is
maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Leadenhall Street, Thorn Tree Street, Dundas Street, unaffected part of Lombard Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 14th March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months,
notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 18th March 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(FALL LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Centurion Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Fall Lane for 20 metres either side of Bridge MVN2 for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and
pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th March 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period
between the hours of 23:00 & 08:00.
(JIM ALLEN LANE, MIDGLEY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Avove Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Jim Allen Lane from its junction with Naylor Lane to No. 3 Jim Allen Lane for a distance of approximately 36 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the
emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Midgley Road, Burnley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th March 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 13:30.
(ST STEPHEN’S STREET, COPLEY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by BAM Nuttall Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of St Stephen’s Street at the ‘hammerhead’ turning area opposite Nos. 146 & 147 for a distance of approximately 21 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the
emergency services is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th March 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th September 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
