(Cross Grange Avenue, Chapeltown, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Excavation along carriageway for LV Cable overlay works.) Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Cross Grange Avenue, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between its junctions with Shepherds Lane to Grange Avenue and Cowper Street to Grange Avenue. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Grange Avenue, Spencer Place, Shepherds Lane. Grange Avenue, Spencer Place, Cowper Street. Grange Avenue, Hillcrest Avenue, Shepherds Lane. Grange Avenue, Hillcrest Avenue, Cowper Street. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 5th March 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Back Savile Road, Chapeltown, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for Northern power grid works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Back Savile Road, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between its junctions with Mexborough Place and Savile Avenue, and its junctions with Savile Avenue and Mexborough Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Savile Road, Mexborough Place/Mexborough Road, Savile Drive and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 18th March 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for mains across the road.) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Cleavesty Lane, East Keswick, Leeds in the Harewood Ward between its junctions with Harewood Road and Lumby Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Harewood Road, Lumby Lane and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday18th March 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (works to replace gas main) Leeds City Council made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Allerton Park, Chapel Allerton, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between its junctions with Church Lane and Webton Court Access Road. A diversionary route is not necessary as access to Allerton Park will be maintained. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 18th March 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for remedial works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Cloberry Street, Woodhouse, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Lyddon Terrace and Clarendon Place. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Lyddon Terrace, Lifton Place, Cromer Terrace. Cromer Terrace, Mount Preston Street, Clarendon Road, University Road, Lyddon Terrace, Lifton Place, Cromer Terrace. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. (Watergate, Methley, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure for gas main replacement) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Watergate, Methley, Leeds in the Kippax & Methley Ward between its junctions with Churchside and Watergate. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Watergate, Park Lane, Churchside. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 16 March 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Horsforth New Road & Broadway, Horsforth, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (30mph speed restriction to facilitate various works by Traffic, Northern Gas and Bridges to assist with Traffic Management.) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Horsforth New Road & Broadway Horsforth, Leeds in the Calverley & Farsley Ward and Horsforth Ward, between its junctions with Rawdon Road to its junction with Rodley Lane at a speed greater than 30mph. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: N/A. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday19th March 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Repair and re-roof of coroded and damaged BT manhole) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Savile Mount, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward at its junctions with Chapeltown Road and Husler Place. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Chapeltown Road, Mexborough Street, Scott Hall Road OR Scott Hall Road (south/city bound), Chapeltown Road. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for works to repair and replace lightwells of Hansby Gate Subway Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: A speed reduction of 40mph will be in place along Ring Road Seacroft, Seacroft, Leeds in the Killingbeck & Seacroft ward between its junctions with York Road and Ring Road Crossgates. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: is not applicable as traffic will be maintained. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure required for gas main replacement. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Gledhow Park Drive, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between its junctions with Montreal Avenue and 49 Gledhow Park Drive. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure required for Northern Gas Network works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Harrison Crescent, Gipton, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward between its junctions with York Road and Wykebeck Valley Road. It is also considered necessary to suspend One-Way on Harrison Crescent, allowing access to properties from Wykebeck Valley Road. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for gas mains replacement Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Ontario Place, Chapel Allerton, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: No diversion route necessary as either side of Ontario Place is a dead end road. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure required for tower crane dismantle Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Merrion Street, Leeds, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Wade Lane and New Briggate. It is also considered neccesary to: Reverse one-way on Belgrave Street/Cross Belgrave Street, between their junctions with Wade Lane and New Briggate. Suspend parking bays on Belgrave Street/Cross Belgrave Street, between their junctions with Wade Lane and New Briggate. Suspend Bus Lane on North Street, from its junction Grafton Street southbound. The Council of the City of Leeds has made the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (DEFINITIVE MAP FOOTPATH MICKLEFIELD NO.7) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 The Order will close to pedestrians – Definitive Map Footpath Micklefield No. 7 (known as Castle Hill Wood) commencing at its junction with Definitive Map Footpath No. 6 and proceeding in a south westerly direction through Highroyds Wood to its junction with the A1M, with a branch running north via the Castle Hill Underpass to the Great North Road. The diversion route will be via: Definitive Footpath MICKLEFIELD No. 7 to Definitive Footpath MICKLEFIELD No. 6 to Definitive Footpath MICKLEFIELD No. 12 to Definitive Footpath MICKLEFIELD No. 3 to Great North Road heading south to Definitive Footpath MICKLEFIELD No. 7. The Order is necessary due to a danger to the public from trains that has been identified at the level crossing. The Order is due to come into operation on 14 March 2024 and will continue in effect until 11 September 2024 (subject to extension). The Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (COCKBURN LAURENCE CALVERT ACADEMY) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order will close to pedestrians the length of Footpath that commences at its junction with St George’s Road – located on the north side of the Cockburn Laurence Calvert Academy – for a distance of 234 metres in a westerly direction. T he diversion route will be available by proceeding southerly along St George’s Road footway – then proceeding westerly along the footpath adjacent to the south side of the Cockburn Laurence Calvert Academy Playing Fields – then proceeding northerly along the footpath adjacent to the Playing Fields, to the point of closure, and vice versa. The Order is necessary to enable works to be undertaken on or near the footpath. The Order is due to come into operation on 19 March 2024 and will continue in effect until 21 May 2024.
