TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council
intends to make the above titled order. From 2/4/24
for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish
20/5/24. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle
to park or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: PRINCESS STREET EASTPRINCES
SQUARE PRINCESS STREET WEST, EXETER THERE
IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE. This temporary
restriction is considered necessary to enable:
PARKING SUSPENSION / PROHIBTION OF PARKING -
REQUIRED FOR GAS MAINS REPLACEMENT WORKS.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be
via - A3015, A379, & VICE VERSA. This temporary
restriction is considered necessary to enable:

to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads
affected: STOKE ROAD, EXETER, (FROM JUNCTION
WITH PENNSYLVANIA ROAD & RUNNING NORTH FOR
APPROXIMATELY 270M) The alternative, signed, route
for vehicles will be via - A396 STOKE ROAD, A377
COWLEY HILL, A377, A3072 WELLPARKS HILL,
A3072 COMMERCIAL ROAD, A3072 EXHIBITION
ROAD, A3072, A396 BICKLEY, A396, A396 STOKE
CANON, A396 STOKE ROAD, EXETER. This temporary
restriction is considered necessary to enable: TO
REPAIR THE ROAD & STABILISE THE CARRIAGEWAY.
THE INITIAL STAGE OF WORKS WILL INVOLVE
EXCAVATION & CASTING A CONCRETE BEAM IN
SITU. THIS WILL REQUIRE A ROAD CLOSURE THAT
WILL BE IN PLACE FOR AROUND 11 DAYS. DURING
THE REMAINDER OF THE WORKS INTERMITTENT
CLOSURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE NEEDED ON
TEN OCCASIONS TO FACILITATE OTHER REPAIRS &
RESURFACING. ADVANCE WARNING BOARDS TO GO
OUT 14 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF ANY ROAD CLOSURE
