TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES - VARIOUS ROADS, COUNTYWIDE 2024 (No.12)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road. ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:
1) Market Parade/Elmleigh Road (footpath), Havant between its junction with Elmleigh Road and its junction with North Street
2) Whalesmead Road, Eastleigh between its junction with Orchard Avenue and its junction with Weavills Road
3) Oakhanger Road, Kingsley, East Hampshire between its junction with Forge Road and its junction with Oakhanger Road (first driveway in)
4) Mill Lane, Empshott, East Hampshire between its junction with Empshott Green and its junction with Hawkley Road
5) A32 Droxford Road, Wickham, Winchester between its junction with A334 and its junction with Kingsmead
6) Thruxton Down, Thruxton, Test Valley between its junction between access road to Thruxton Racing Circuit and its junction with A303 Westbound off slip
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
1) Elmleigh Road, Park Road North, Elm Lane, Market Parade, North Street
2) Orchard Avenue, Weavills Road
3) Oakhanger Road, Forge Road (B3004), A325, Louisberg Avenue (A325), Oakhanger Road
4) Mill Lane, Hawkley Road, Empshott Green
5) A32, B3035, B2177, A334. B2177, A3, A27, Wallington Way, A32 Wickham Road
6) B3084, Monxton Road, Roman Road, Green Lane, Wiremead Lane DURATION OF ORDER: from 18th March 2024 for a period of 18 months excluding notice 1 which will be in force for a duration of 6 months. (This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
