TO DOXFORD NEWHOUSES ELLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3002 North Charlton To Doxford Newhouses Ellingham from its point outside of North Charlton Lodge heading in an easterly direction for a distance of 207 metres. The closure will then continue over the bridge outside of Streetsheet Plantation for a further 21 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th March 2024 until the 30th September 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 11th March 2024 until the 10th May 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th September 2024.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out bridge works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
