B6353 LOWICK TO FENWICK
(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the speed by vehicular traffic from 60 MPH down to 30 MPH on that section of the B6353 Lowick to Fenwick from its point with Lowick Berwick Borough Bridleway 019 heading in a south westerly direction for a length of 110 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th March 2024 until the 26th September 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be restricted from the 11th March 2024 until the 24th May 2024 and that it will be restricted at all times during this period.

The restriction has been requested by Northumberland County Council for the safety of the public, operatives carrying out the works and the actual stability of the bridge whilst works are ongoing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
