(Crawley: Crawley Lane, North Road and Various E-Paths)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, West Sussex County Council intend to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close the following lengths of roads and E-paths:(i) Crawley Lane, between Worth Road and Moat Walk; and
(ii) North Road, between Forge Road and Forge Lane; and
(iii) E-path E145 – Carraway Close Rear of 1 to 4, Heather Walk
Side of 59, Heather Walk 119 - 129; and
(iv) E-path E168 – Arundel Close to Spring Plat, Clive Way
36 - 52, Clive Way 42 - 44; and
(v) E-path E5407 Broadwood Rise to Subway
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas mains works are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 18 March 2024 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 2 September 2024. The sections of roads and E-paths will not all be closed at the same time. Signage will indicate when the closures are in place.
