Walton Road - Temporary Road Closure To Facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE WALTON ROAD, DRAKELOW
WHEN: 18th March 2024 to 22nd March 2024 (09:30 to 15:00).
WHERE: Walton Road, Drakelow from its junction with Cauldwell Road for a distance of approximately 320 metres.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Walton Road, Cauldwell Road, Rosliston Road, Rosliston Road South and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
