Gravenchon Way - Temporary Road Closure For Replace A Safety Manhole Cover

Temporary Closure of Gravenchon Way
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Gravenchon Way - from the junction with Westway Roundabout, westwards for a total distance of 82 metres.
This Order will enable Milestone Infrastructure to replace a safety manhole cover.
The Order becomes effective on 7th March 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 12th March 2024 and last until 13th March 2024 between the hours of 20:00 - 06:00 for a total of 1 night.
There is no alternative route for this closure. The works promoter will contact residents and businesses directly to discuss access arrangements.
