NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Earlsway, Macclesfield
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Earlsway, Macclesfield – For the full extent.
For specific dates and diversions please visit one.network.
This order will come into operation on Monday 25 March 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 31 March 2025.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Hobson Street/Ryle Street, Macclesfield
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Hobson Street, Macclesfield – For the full extent.
Ryle Street, Macclesfield – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Cholmondeley Street, Peel Street, Park Lane, Hobson Street and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 11 March 2024 and will continue in force for 36 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Thursday 25 September 2025.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 S15 – TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS
Public Footpath No. 7 Parish of Prestbury
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 29 August 2024. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath Number No. 7 Prestbury which commences at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 9076 7741 and runs in a generally north north easterly direction and then east north easterly direction for approx. 424 metres to OSGR SJ 9099 7773. The closure is necessary until essential bridge repairs are completed.
