What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Trowbridge Road, Hilperton; from its roundabout junction with A361 to its roundabout junction with Church Street to enable Wessex Water to carry out mains and associated works. Alternative route via Church Street - Hill Street - Horse Road - Wyke Road - Elizabeth Way and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 March 2024 and the closure will be required for 24 hours a day until 22 April 2024. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. B) Potley Lane (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Pockeridge Drive for a distance of approximately 100m in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out surveying, cleaning and assessment of damage to deformed pipe and associated works. Alternative route via Potley Lane (unaffected length) - Leafield Way - Elley Green - Lypiatt - Lypiatt Road - Dicketts Road - B3353 - Valley Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 March 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 until 28 March 2024. C C245 (Part), Erlestoke; for a distance of approximately 50m either side of the railway bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge examination and associated works. This Order will come into operation on 25 March 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. Alternative route via A363 (unaffected length) -A361 - A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 March 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. E) A350 (Part), Melksham; from its junction with A365 to its roundabout junction with Avon Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. This Order will come into operation on 04 March 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 23 March 2024. F) Coulston (Part), Coulston; from outside its property known as The Old Rectory for a distance of approximately 50m in a north westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out manhole cover and associated works. This Order will come into operation on 04 March 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00 for 1 day. H) Broadway North (Part), Heywood; from its junction with Link Road to its junction with Headquarters Road. I) Link Road (Part), Heywood; from its junction with Quartermaster Road to outside its property known as Club Ice to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out full carriageway reconstruction and associated works. Alternative route Phase G and H via Storridge Road - Headquarters Road and vice versa. Alternative route I via Storridge Road - B3097 - Link Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 04 March 2024 and the closures are anticipated to be required 24 hours a day but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. The phases will run consecutively and not concurrently and local publicity will be arranged for all affected businesses until 31 March 2024. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Alternative route via Castle Street - Fore Street and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 04 March 2024 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 3 days. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Bradford on Avon Consolidation Order 2018 the effect of which will be to revoke Map Schedule Nos. EH19, EJ20 and EM22 dated 21 May 2018, EI21 dated 30 January 2023, EJ21 dated 20 September 2021, EK20 dated 19 November 2018 and EL20 dated 16 August 2021 and replace them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be as follows: Order 1 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (C213, C214 and Manor Road, Monkton Farleigh) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2017 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 1 and to introduce a 20mph speed limit on C213, Monkton Farleigh - from a point 91 metres south of its junction with Broadstones for a distance of 285 metres in a northerly direction; C213 Manor Road, Monkton Farleigh - from a point 33 metres north of the entrance to property known as Manor Farm to a point 32 metres north of its junction with UC 6501; C214, Monkton Farleigh - from a point 58 metres west of its junction with UC 6501 to a point 30 metres east of that junction; UC 6501, Monkton Farleigh - from its junction with C214 for its entire length. Order 2 -To introduce a 30mph speed limit on C213 Farleigh Rise, Monkton Farleigh - from a point 100 metres north of its junction with C213 Manor Road in a north westerly direction to the County Boundary. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Trowbridge Consolidation Order 2023 by revoking Map Schedule No ET26 dated 04/12/2023 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule No ET26 the effect of which will be as follows: (a) To introduce No waiting at any timeand No loading at any time on both sides of Manvers Street, Fore Street and Wicker Hill
- from a point approximately 33 metres north of its junction Manvers Street junction with Fore Street to its junction with (b) To introduce Parking Mon-Sat 8am - 6pm 1 hour No return within 1 hour on the following lengths of road:
- south side - from the western building line of No.4 Fore Street to the pedestrian doorway of No.3 Fore Street;
- south side - from the western building line of No. 7 Wicker Hill to the pedestrian doorway of No. 3 Wicker Hill. (c) To introduce Loading Only 30 mins No return within 1 hour on the southern side of Fore Street to the pedestrian doorway of No. 7 Wicker Hill.
