What is happening?

BLACKPOOL BOROUGH COUNCIL

THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL (COMMON EDGE ROAD, LYTHAM

GARDEN CENTRE SERVICE ROAD ONE WAY SOUTHBOUND)

MOVEMENT ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Blackpool Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 53 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions as specified below:

RESTRICTIONS TO BE INTRODUCED

1.  One way south bound directional travel on Common Edge Road, Lytham Garden Centre Service Road from its southern junction with Common Edge Road to its northern junction with Common Edge Road.

A copy of the proposed Order, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Customer First, Municipal Buildings, Corporation Street, Blackpool, FY1 1NF. Please telephone 01253 477477 to make an appointment to view the documents.

Any objections and representations relating to the proposed Order must be made quoting the title of this Order before midday on 26 March 2024 by one of the following methods:

1. in writing stating the grounds for any objection and should be sent to either Head of Transportation Highways, Blackpool Council, PO Box 4, Blackpool, FY1 1NA; or

2. by email to traffic.management@blackpool.gov.uk; or

3. by scanning the QR code using your phone camera or a QR code application, and then following the onscreen instructions and clicking Submit Feedback

in the Active Consultations tab
