Cartgate Overbridge - Temporary Road Closure For Repairs To The Counting Unit

Temporary Closure of Cartgate Overbridge
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Cartgate Overbridge - from the junction with Stoke Road to the junction with North Street for a total distance of 218 metres.
This Order will enable Telent to carry out repairs to the counting unit on behalf of Ringway M&R Technology Southwest.
The Order becomes effective on 21st March 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 25th March 2024 and last until 26th March 2024 between the hours of 20:00 - 06:00 for a total of 10 hours.
