Tonbridge and Malling, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA

Aldon Lane, Offham, ME19 5PH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Aldon Lane, Offham, on or after 25th March 2024 for up to 10 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Aldon Manor. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Aldon Lane, Teston Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, A20 London Road, Aldon Lane and vice versa.

 

Birling Road, Leybourne, ME19 5JA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Birling Road, Leybourne, on or after 11th March 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed. The one-way order will be suspended to allow access.

The road will be closed outside Leybourne Grange Riding Centre. The one-way order will be suspended between Leybourne Grange Riding Centre and A20 London Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bannister Way, Hawley Drive, A20 London Road and vice versa.

 

Broadwater Road, West Malling, ME19 6HU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Broadwater Road, West Malling, on or after 28th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 200, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Broadwater Road, Clare Lane, Mill Street, High Street, Chapel Street, Wateringbury Road, The Heath, Pikey Lane, Broadwater Road and vice versa.

 

Church Lane, Tonbridge, TN12 5BL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow speed limit signage installation to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Lane, East Peckham, on or after 29th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside East Peckham Primary School. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hale Street, Old Road, Pound Road and vice versa.

 

High House Lane, Hadlow (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement and tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High House Lane, Hadlow, on or after 13th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Carpenters Lane and Ashes Lane, during the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Carpenters Lane, A26 High Street, A26 Tonbridge Road, Ashes Lane and vice versa.

 

Lodge Road, Tonbridge, TN9 1HT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lodge Road, Tonbridge, on or after 25th March 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 28. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lodge Road, Stafford Road, The Slade, Annison Street, Lansdowne Road and vice versa.

 

New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, ME20 7GQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow manhole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, on or after 12th March 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 432 New Hythe Lane, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bellingham Way, College Road, Papyrus Way and vice versa.

 

Roughway Lane, Tonbridge (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Roughway Lane, Tonbridge, on or after 29th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Halebank, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Hurst, Oxenhoath Road, Park Road, Hamptons Road, Dunks Green Road, Roughway Lane and vice versa.

 

Stacey Road, Tonbridge, TN10 3AN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow manhole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stacey Road, Tonbridge, on or after 14th March 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 23. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stacey Road, B245 London Road, B245 Tonbridge Road, Hilden Park Road and vice versa.

 

Three Elm Lane, Tonbridge (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Three Elm Lane, Tonbridge, on or after 26th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Easterfield Farm, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Three Elm Lane, Tonbridge Road, Hatches Lane, Chidley Cross Road, Pound Road, Old Road, Hale Street, Maidstone Road, A228 Seven Mile Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 High Street, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Hadlow Road East, Three Elm Lane and vice versa.

 

Vigo Road, Wrotham, TN15 7JW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vigo Road, Wrotham, on or after 25th March 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Wykendene. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Vigo Road, Platt House Lane, Fairseat Lane, A227 Gravesend Road and vice versa.

 

Vines Lane, Hildenborough (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vines Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 28th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Stone Lodge, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Mill Lane, B245 London Road, B245 Tonbridge Road, Riding Lane and vice versa.
