Temporary Orders Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40MPH over an area of highway being 83254 Between East Road And Rhude Cross, Kilkhampton, Bude between property known as Rhude Farm and grid reference 55 26296 09007 for approximately 75 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out overhead cabling works. The Order will come into operation on 2nd April 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 2nd April 2024. The restriction will be in force from 0930 hours on the 2nd April 2024 and continue until 1600 hours on the 2nd April 2024, weekdays only. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 4th March 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Poughill, Bude. This prohibition is necessary for new foul water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th March 2024 to 22nd March 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From Northcott Mouth Road To Stone Hill, Poughill, Bude between properties known as Midsummers Cottage and Pudners Cottage.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Poundstock, Bude. This prohibition is necessary for parapet repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd April 2024 to 15th April 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Road From Penfound Road To Junction North West Of Week Orchard, Poundstock, Bude between grid reference SS 23367 00363 and property known as Kitsham.

Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 29th January 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Urban Footway F7193, Parish of Bude-Stratton between Hollabury Road and East Fairholme Road. The Order which commenced on the 12th February 2024 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 20th March 2024. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 6th March 2024 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the public of way to carry out gas mains replacement works to be carried out safely due to the location of the main. Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. The Order which commenced on the 21st November 2023 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 1st June 2024. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 1st March 2024 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the public of way to carry out development works.
