What is happening?
Temporary Road Closure – Houghton Road, Stockbridge, Test Valley
Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
Road To Be Closed: that part of Houghton between its junction with Houghton War Memorial and its junction with Church Lane (spur).
Alternative Route: A30, A3057, Horsebridge Road
Duration Of Order: from 12th March 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 08:30-16:30). road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out pole replacement.
Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
