ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF A6123 ALDWARKE LANE RAWMARSH ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A6123 Aldwarke Lane from the western side of the 11’3’’ rail bridge located near the Station Public House to the north western kerbline of the Minteq access road on up to 20 occasions between 8pm and 6am between Saturday 2nd. March and Thursday 1st. August 2024.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via A6123 Great Eastern Way, A6123 Taylors Lane, A6123 Mangham Road, A6123 Greasbrough Road, A6123 Greasbrough Street, A630 Centenary Way, A630 Fitzwilliam Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (construction of a new access road and roundabout).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath No.12 Swinton at the point where it goes under the railway bridge at Grid reference SK 4616 9945 on Monday 4th. March 2024. NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order.
Reason for the prohibition – because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath (bridge inspection to take place on the overhead bridge).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Ulrica Drive from its junction with Rotherwood Crescent to its junction with Aymer Drive from Tuesday 12th. March until Monday 18th. March 2024. NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Rotherwood Crescent, Aymer Drive and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (New electrical connection).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Dun Street, Swinton from its junction with A6022 Bridge Street to the north western kerb line of Walker Street on Thursday 7th March and Friday 8th March 2024.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Walker Street, New Station Road, Bridge Street and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (New water connection).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian and horse rider from proceeding along that part of Public Bridleway No.16 Harthill commencing from its junction with Hard Lane at Grid reference SK 4929 8127 and proceeding in a westerly direction for a distance of 100 metres from Monday 4th March 2024 for a period of three weeks. NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for pedestrians and horse riders affected by the order.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the bridleway (Drainage works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A6178 Sheffield Road its junction with Sheffield Road Ickles Way Roundabout to its junction with A630 Centenary Way from Monday 4th March until Sunday 24th March 2024 between the hours of 7pm and 5am.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via Centenary Way, College Road Roundabout, New
Wortley Road, New Wortley Road Roundabout, Rhymers Roundabout, Wilton Gardens, Wilton Lane, Meadow Bank Road, A631 M1 J34 North Roundabout, A631 from M1 J34 North Roundabout to M1 J34 South Roundabout, Tinsley Viaduct, A631 M1 J34 South Roundabout, Sheffield Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Resurfacing).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Hardwick Lane from a point approximately 275m north of Worksop Road service road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction on Wednesday 6th. March and Thursday 7th. March 2024.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected, the road is a cul de sac. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the part of road (New telecom pole).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Main Street, Hillside, Main Street slip road, Ryton Road, Worksop Road, Sheffield Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (New water connection).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via The Meadows, Kiveton Lane, Mill Hills and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Water repairs).

March until Saturday 16th. March 2024.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) AND 14(7) PART OF WEST STREET (UNCLASSIFIED) WATH UPON DEARNE ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY EXEMPTION FOR BUSES IN SERVICE FROM PARKING RESTRICTIONS)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to suspend part of Schedule 1 of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Traffic Regulation Consolidation) Order 2011 and provide an additional exemption for buses in service waiting on a timing point from existing parking restrictions (double yellow lines) on that part of West Street from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Montgomery Road from Saturday 9th. March until Sunday 12th. May 2024.
The reason for the order is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Closure of bus stopping provisions on Montgomery Road).
