What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
C122 TRINITY ROAD, KINGSBURY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Edge Hill, Wood End and Roman
Way, Dordon.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, overnight 20.00hrs-06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 2 March 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: Trinity Road, Piccadilly Way, A51, B5404 Watling Street, B5440 Marlborough Way,
A5 and vice versa
NB: Bridge height restrictions on Trinity Road 3.4 m /11’ 9” & 4.4 m /14’ 9” – Access/Egress to
High-sided vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so whilst works are in progress.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
D537 GORSEY LANE, COLESHILL
Order Effect: Gorsey Lane closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with the A446 Lichfield Road to
its junction with Station Road. In addition, the Weight Restriction on B4117 Lichfield Road will be
temporarily suspended.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 20.00hrs-06.00hrs weeknights only.
Order Commences: 19 March 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: A446 Lichfield Road, B4117 Lichfield Road, Station Road and vice versa. The 7.5t
weight limit on B4117 Lichfield Road between the A446 and Station Road will be temporarily suspended
to enable the above diversion route. Access/Egress to/from Gorsey Way and Chattle Hill may be restricted
whilst works are in progress. Access/egress to/from Roman Way via Station Road only whilst works are
in progress.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH AE48 FROM BROWN’S LANE TO A5 WATLING STREET, DORDON
Order Effect: Footpath closed between Brown’s Lane and A5 Watling Street.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works.
Order Commences: 18 March 2024 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 22 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: A5 Watling Street, New Street, Brown’s Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
PURLEY CHASE LANE, MANCETTER
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to install small water hydrant.
Order Commences: 17 March 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 17 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: Purley Chase Lane, Steppey Lane, Quarry Lane, The Green, Mancetter Road,
Nuneaton Road, Atherstone Road, Castle Road, Church Road, School Hill, Coleshill Road, Ansley Common,
West View, Pipers Lane, Ridge Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.
TRINITY ROAD, KINGSBURY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the junction with Pitt Hill to the roundabout with
Kingsbury Link.
Reason for Order: To facilitate bridge inspections.
Order Commences: 20 March 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: Trinity Road, Tamworth Road, High Street, Dosthill Road, Watling Street, Marlborough
Way, Quarry Hill, Pennine Way, Thomas Guy Way, A5 and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated
adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be
maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BOROUGH OF NORTH WARWICKSHIRE) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING
PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO. 8) ORDER 2024
Warwickshire County Council has made the above named Variation Order under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (Borough
of North Warwickshire) (Waiting Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2017,
as described (by approximate measurements) in the Schedule below. The Order commences on Monday
4 March 2024.
Exceptions to the waiting restrictions described in the Schedule below will permit waiting for the purposes
of picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading goods, for vehicles displaying
a disabled person’s badge and in connection with the maintenance of the road and the supply of gas,
water or electricity.
A copy of the Variation Order, together with a copy of an Order to be varied, plans showing the lengths
of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, are available on the
Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20206/north-warwickshire-borough and
at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours.
Any enquiries relating to the Variation Order may be made to Ben Davenport, Communities Directorate,
Warwickshire County Council by email to pmc@warwickshire.gov.uk. Any person who desires to question
the validity of the Variation Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within
the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement
of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Variation
Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Variation Order apply to the High Court
for this purpose.

Coventry Road, Coleshill – No Waiting at any Time
East side, from a point 13 metres north of its junction with Packington Lane, southwards for 75 metres.
Packington Lane, Coleshill – No Waiting at any Time
(i) North Side, from its junction with Coventry Road south-eastwards for 205 metres.
(ii) South side, from its junction with Coventry Road south-eastwards for 80 metres.
Packington Lane, Coleshill – No Waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-9.30am and 2.30pm-3.30pm
West side, from a point 80 metres southwest of its junction with Coventry Road, southwards for
119 metres.
