Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Star Road Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-400

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Star Road, as lies between Glenton Street and Wellington Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is Wellington St, St John’s St, Eastfield Rd Roundabout 39, St John’s St, Vineyard Rd, Bishop’s Rd, Star Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 03/03/2024 and will continue until the Sluice Valve Repacking works have been completed or until the 02/03/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place on the 03/03/2024. For further information please contact Anglian Water on 08457 145145. RC2

The City of Peterborough Frank Perkins Parkway J7 to J5, Peterborough. Temporary 40 mph Speed Restriction Order 2024 Ref: 24-424

The effect of which is to impose a 40 mph speed limit on the road known as the Frank Perkins Parkway J7 to J5 as lies between J7 and J5. The proposed Order will come into operation on 04/03/2024 and will continue until the repair works on Frank Perkins Parkway have been completed or until the 03/09/2024, whichever is the earlier. The proposed order will come into force on the 04/03/2024 and will continue until the gas main replacement works have been completed or until the 03/03/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 04/03/2024 and the 12/05/2024. Vehicular access on to the course shall be prohibited at all the side roads joining the route whilst the route remains closed. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are via (1) Uffington Rd, Barnack Rd, A1175 Main Rd. (2) via Wittering Ford Rd, Heath Rd, Wittering Rd, Stamford Rd. The proposed Order will come into force on Sunday 10th March 2024 only from 08:30am to 11.30am and is at the request of DSTM Ltd for the purposes of the Burghley 7 Road Race 2024. The Council is satisfied that the length of road that is the subject of this Order is liable to be obstructed during the Burghley 7 Road Race 2024 Event between the above times only. The City of Peterborough Speechley Drove, Newborough, Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 Ref: 24-434

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Speechley Drove, approximately 175m north of Thorney Road, Newborough. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order, access will be maintained to affected properties. The proposed order will come into force on the 11/03/2024 and will continue until the installation of strategic pipeline works have been completed or until the 10/03/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 11/03/2024 and the 22/03/2024.
