What is happening?

(THTTC3372 BATH ROAD, PEASEDOWN ST JOHN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Bath Road, Peasedown St John from its junction with Braysdown Lane extending east for approximately 50 metres. USRN: 47916572.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to replace a BT pole in the footway on the 3rd March 2024 for a maximum period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 08:00 – 16:00hrs only.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bath Road (remainder) – Ashgrove – A367 – Bath Road – vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Firgrove Lane, Peasedown St John from its junction with Hillside View extending north to its junction with Lower Church Road. USRN: 47902505.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to replace a decayed electricity pole on the 7th March 2024 for a maximum period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:00 – 16:00hrs only.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Stoneage Lane, Tunley, Bath from its junction with Withyditch Lane/Carlingcott extending north for approximately 290 metres. USRN: 47902504.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to access the network in order to carry out a pole test on the 21st March 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY BETWEEN 09:30 – 15:30hrs.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of High Street, Wellow from its junction with Littleton Lane extending north east to a point outside the property known as Morcroft. USRN: 47917020.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for drainage improvement works to remove highway flooding by Bath and North East Somerset Council on the 4th March 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWO WEEKS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wellow Road – Wellow Lane – A367 – B3110 – Wellow Lane – Hinton Hill – Ford Road – Bull’s Hill – High Street.
