NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Nottinghamshire
County Council intends not
less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an
Order, under Section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984, as amended, in respect
of roads at Tuxford, Walesby
and Kirton in the District of
Bassetlaw and Newark &
Sherwood.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited
from proceeding in the
following length of road as
listed in paragraph 3.
2. Vehicles are prohibited
from waiting, loading and
unloading (both sides, 20:00-
06:00) in the following lengths
of road as listed in paragraph 3.

i) A6075 Ollerton Road,
Tuxford - from a point 650
metres west of its junction with
The Pastures to its junction with
Tuxford Road (Walesby)
ii) A6075 Ollerton Road,
Walesby - from its junction with
Tuxford Road (Walesby) to its
junction with A6075 Tuxford
Road (Kirton)
iii) A6075 Tuxford Road,
Kirton - from its junction with
A6075 Ollerton Road (Walesby)
to its junction with Egmanton
Road (Kirton)
4. The existing weight
limit will be temporarily
suspended in the following
length of road:
Church Road, Boughton - for
its whole length
5. All existing permanent
restrictions will be temporarily
suspended as required.
6. The restrictions specified
above shall only be in effect
when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the
prohibitions respecting the
above road or roads will apply
as follows:
From 20:00 hours on Sunday
17th March until 06:00 hours
on Saturday 30th March 2024
Working hours 20:00 - 06:00
daily
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY
FURTHER GIVEN that during
the period of restriction the
alternative route available
will be:
B1164 Great North Road, A1,
A614, A616, A6075 Forest
Road/ Tuxford Road (Ollerton)
/Main Street (Kirton) and vice
versa
The Order will come into
force on 17th day of March
2024 and any prohibition in
it shall apply on that day and
any subsequent day when
necessary to enable works
to be carried out. The Order
shall continue in force until the
works are completed (within a
maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required
to enable Via East Midlands
on behalf of Nottinghamshire
County Council to carry out
carriageway maintenance
works.
