What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14 (1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd mewn grym o 11/03/2024 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio'r rhan honno o Bridge Road South o bwynt 150m i'r de o'i chyffordd a Bridgeway West i'w chyffordd a chylchfan Ffordd De Clywedog De, i gyfeiriad y De am bellter o 140 metr er mwyn i Scottish Power Energy/O'Connor Utilities osod ceblau newydd yn y briffordd. Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 11/03/2024 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Bridge Road South from a point 150m south of its junction with Bridgeway West to its junction with the roundabout for Clywedog Road South in an southerly direction for a distance of 140 meters to enable Scottish Power Energy/O'Connor Utilities to install new cables in the carriageway. One closure with traffic able to travel in a southerly direction.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Clywedog Road South, Clywedog Road East, and Bridge Road South which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 12 working days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
