What is happening?
BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE
(BROOMFIELD CRECENT, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend,
in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Broomfield
Crescent from its junction with Oxendale Drive to its junction with
Gowan Drive.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of new Traffic
Calming Measures onto the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 09.00 hours until 16.00 hours each
day from the 11th March 2024 until 22nd March 2024 as required.
Access will be provided if required and safe to do so.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Broomfield Crescent,
Bowness Road and vice versa.
(ELLIS LANE, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend,
in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Ellis Lane
from its junction with Heywood Old Road for a distance of 260 metres
in a south easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate Electrical works in the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 07.30 hours on 18th March 2024
until 18.00 hours on 28th March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Heywood Old Road
(A6045), Manchester Old Road (A576), Boardman Lane, Ellis Lane
and vice versa.
(MANCHESTER OLD ROAD, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIMITED WAITING BAY &
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made
an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily;
I. Prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along the north side of
Manchester Old Road from a point 25 metres east of its junction
with Chapel Street for a distance of 33 metres in an easterly
direction,
II. Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of
Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Middleton Township)

Waiting Limited 1 Hour, No Return Within 1 Hour
Manchester Old Road, Middleton
The north side from a point 25 metres east of its junction with
Chapel Street for a distance of 33 metres in an easterly direction
The Order is required to facilitate telecoms works within the footway
and pedestrian walkway provision in the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 hours until 18:00 hours on
3rd March 2024.
