Temporary Road Closures – Various Roads, Countywide 2024 (No.11)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road.
Roads To Be Closed: those parts of the following roads:
- Newnham Lane, Old Basing & Lychpit, Basingstoke between its junction with Pot Lane and its junction with Tylney Lane
- Monk Sherborne Road, Basingstoke between its junction with West End and its junction with Ramsdell Road
- Giles Lane/ Church Lane, Plaitford, Test Valley between its junction with ‘The Ford’ at Giles Lane and its junction with St Peters Church on Church Lane
- Dukes Mead, Hart between its junction with a point opposite no.110 Dukes Mead and its junction with a point opposite no. 24
- Wykeford Lane, Basingstoke between its junction with Ramsdell Road and its junction with Aldermaston Road
- Cott Street, Swanmore, Winchester between its junction with Tudor Cottage and its junction with a point approximately 100 meters past Tudor cottage heading towards Hill Grove Lane
- Manchester Road, Sway, New Forest between its junction with Middle Lane and its junction with Brighton Road
- Newtown Road, Minstead, New Forest between its junction with Lyndhurst Road and its junction with School Lane
- Scallows Lane, West Wellow, Test Valley between its junction with a point opposite Bear Stables and its junction with Riverside Farm
- 10)Whitmore Vale, Grayshott, East Hampshire between its junction with Whitmore Vale Road and its junction with School Road
- 11)Snooks Lane, Boldre, New Forest between its junction with B3054 and its junction with South Baddesley Road

- 16)Quay Street, Fareham between its junction with the entry point of the flyover and its junction with the exit point of the flyover

- 18)Pardown, Oakley, Basingstoke between its junction with St Johns Road and its termination
- 19)Chapel Lane, Grateley, Test Valley between its junction with High Street/ Monxton Road and its termination
Temporary Speed Restriction – To impose a 30 mph temporary speed restriction on the following road:
A3051, Winchester between its junction with Ridge Lane and its junction with Whiteley Lane.

Duration Of Order: from 11th March 2024 for a period of 18 months. (This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
