What is happening?

Somerset Council Parish of West Buckland Temporary Closure of West Buckland Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along West Buckland Road - from 26 metres south of the junction with Calways Lane for a total distance of 80 metres. This Order will enable Chris Groves Associates to carry out tree cutting works.

The Order becomes effective on 14th March 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 20th March 2024 and last until 21st March 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
