WAKEFIELD COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (KING STREET & LEE STREET, WAKEFIELD)
SECTION 14 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 36) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for gas mains replacement scheme to be carried out as follows:

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: King Street & Lee Street, Wakefield, approximately 9 metres, both streets. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed lengths of King Street & Lee Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Cliff Parade, Drury Lane, Westgate.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 18th March 2024 to 23rd March 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
