What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL
INSCH – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (Golf Terrace, Insch – 04/03/24)
(Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2024”
has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from
04/03/24 for 2 weeks and will prohibit any person from
driving on Golf Terrace, Insch from the junction with Market
Street to the entrance to the Golf Club.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of
construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during
carriageway resurfacing works. An alternative route is available
via Dunnydeer Park, Western Road, Commerce Street and
Market Street and vice versa. Details of the restriction can
