What is happening?

THE FIFE COUNCIL
(BENNOCHY ROAD, KIRKCALDY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024

Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of Bennochy Rd (Bennochy Bridge – eastbound); and Strathkinnes Rd (at jct with Forth Ave).

The Order is to allow gas works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 11/03/24 to 22/03/24 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic will be via Forth Ave, Abbotshall Rd & Bennochy Rd. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained.
