TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH HODDESDON 9 (EXTENSION NOTICE)
NOTICE is given that an extension of 6 months has been granted to an Order made by Broxbourne Borough Council under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using the length of footpath Hoddesdon 9, from Paddick Close westwards to the junction with Bramble Lane (Restricted Byway Hoddesdon 6 & 7), for an approximate distance of 310 metres.
Footpath Hoddesdon 9 will remain closed until 1 September March 2024, when signs are in place.
Alternative route: Westfield Road (eastward), footpath Hoddesdon 10 (northwards to Hertford Road), Hertford Road (north-westwards) and restricted byway 6 Bramble Lane (southwards).
The purpose of the Order is to extend the closure which has been in place since 01 September 2023 to allow the construction of roads and infrastructure for the High Leigh Garden Village development and surrounding area.
