Derby Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
DERBY ROAD, SWANWICK
WHEN: 20th March 2024 to 22nd March 2024 (between 18:00 to 23:00)
WHERE: Derby Road, Swanwick from its junction with High Street in a northerly direction for approx. 250 metres.
REASON: To facilitate Carriageway Resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6179 Derby Road, B6016 The Green, The Delves, Crays Hill, Swanwick Road, B6017 Main Road, Leabrooks Road, High Street, B600 Nottingham Road, B6019 High Street, A61 King Street, Derby Road, Watchorn Interchange, B6179 Derby Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
