C181 WHITTON VILLAGE ROTHBURY
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intend to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C181 Whitton Village Rothbury from its junction with C182 heading in an easterly direction for a distance of 117 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 21st March 2024 until the 22nd March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 21st March 2024 between 09:30 hours and 14:30 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 22nd March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Whitton Bank Road, Station Road, Garleigh Road, Silverton Lane and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by USL on behalf of Openreach to replace a telegraph pole. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
