U9082 Langton Court - Temporary Road Closure

U9082 LANGTON COURT PONTELAND
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9082 Langton Court Ponteland from number 29 Langton Court to number 35 Langton Court for a length of 60 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 4th March 2024 until the 15th March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 4th March 2024 between the hours of 08:30 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 15th March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Runnymede Road, Western Way, Darras Road and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water Ltd for root removal and cleanse.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
