ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
D16730 HEATH ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed between Heather Drive and Newtown
Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-
15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 4 March 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 4 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: Newtown Road, Woodlands Road, Bedworth
Lane, Astley Lane, Smorrall Lane, Heath Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
D1230 VILLIERS STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic (that section of road
serving properties 82-100).
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, 08.00hrs-
16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 14 November 2023 for up to 18 months.
However, the works were not completed but have now been
rescheduled to: 11 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the
following Temporary Traffic Orders:
D1454 GIPSY LANE, NUNEATON
Order Effect: An 18T Weight Restriction will be imposed from
the Gipsy Road roundabout in a westerly direction. In addition,
the 26T weight restriction order effective from 24 November 2023
will be revoked.
Reason for Order: To avoid the likelihood of danger to the public
and or serious damage to the road.
Order Commences: 14 March 2024 for up to 18 months.

D1309 LINDEN LEA, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed in its entirety from its junction with
George Street Ringway.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-
15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 16 March 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
D1396 MIDDLEMARCH ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed between Coventry Road and Barton Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-
15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 16 March 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: Barton Road, Marner Road, College Street and
vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and
egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of
road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access
will be maintained where possible.
